Kent Mitchell is an Investment Sales Associate with twelve years’ experience in the Berkeley and Oakland multi-unit markets. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Kent is a California Real Estate Broker who began his own real estate investment career purchasing a four-plex in the late 1990s, followed by larger partnership acquisitions. Kent has represented clients and partners in multi-unit deals ranging in size from four to over sixty units. As a broker and investor Kent has facilitated various aspects of purchase, finance, management, capitalization, improvement, refinance and sale of over $100,000,000 in local and international commercial real estate, helping owners and partners more than double their investment capital in all deals for which he has served as principal.
Kent’s most recent partnership is with NAI Northern California, where he facilitates apartment transactions in central areas of Berkeley and Oakland, applying his deep knowledge of rent control in these jurisdictions and his expertise in multi-unit capitalization strategies to help buyers and sellers locate the right opportunities and obtain the best pricing in their real estate investments.
